Intro
Cloudability (Cloud Cost Management Tool) lets you monitor, optimize and govern your cloud costs. To learn more about the Cloudability API, visit their page (http://developers.cloudability.com/).
You connect to your Cloudability account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Cloudability connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.
Prerequisites
To connect to your Cloudability account and create a DataSet, you must have a Cloudability API key. To find your API key, do the following:
-
Log into your Cloudability account.
-
Navigate to Account > Preferences.
-
Click Enable Access at the bottom of the page.
You should then be able to find your API key on this page.
Connecting to Your Cloudability Account
This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes in the Cloudability Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, Scheduling and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.
