The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) is a U.S. government agency that provides official macroeconomic and industry statistics including the gross domestic product of the United States. To learn more about the BEA API, visit their page (https://www.bea.gov/API/signup/index.cfm).
You connect to your BEA account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the BEA connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.
To connect to your BEA account and create a DataSet, you must have a BEA API key. This API key is provided to you by email after you register at https://www.bea.gov/API/signup/index.cfm.
