FAQ's
I’m noticing some slight differences between how the Cards appear in the mobile preview on Web vs. what they actually look like on Mobile.
The mobile preview on Web will serve as a very close approximation of what the Cards actually look like on Mobile. However, due to the different sizing of different mobile devices, there might be very slight differences in the amount of visible content. This is expected.
Who can edit the Mobile Story?
Any user with permission to edit the Page will be able to edit the Mobile Story.
I’m noticing some slight differences to the Web experience as well. What changed?
Custom mobile layouts also bring a streamlined new layout architecture to Web. You can now insert separators or headers anywhere that there is a full horizontal page break.
Where did the ”layouts” tile go on Web?
With the new layout architecture, we are sunsetting the layout tile option. With incremental additions to Stories like adding more page breaks and dynamic sizing, the layout tile is no longer necessary.
Can I bulk move all Cards in a layout like I used to be able to?
Moving or deleting Cards must be done individually with the new layout model.
Do headers still work as “section jumps” on mobile?
Yes. Inserting a header will make it so that you can to easily jump between ”sections” on mobile.
Why can’t I drag Cards in the Mobile editor from the appendix?
In order for a Card to be rearranged in the mobile layout, it must not be in the appendix.
Can I have a card in the layout on Web, but in the appendix on Mobile?
It is not possible for a Card to be in the layout on Web while being in the appendix on Mobile. The Card must be in a layout in order to be customized in the mobile layout.
How do I get into the Card Details view now?
Just like on Web, tapping on the Title will take you into the Card Details view.
